Good girl pays. You build noble values, you become a virtuous woman, you imbibe the right morals. As a mother, you’ll pass virtues to your children. As a wife, you’ll bring honor to your husband. The reason many women think that good girl doesn’t pay is cos of MATERIAL OBSESSION.
The popular saying “good girl no dey pay” is some women’s attempt to justify their nefarious vices like pr0stituti0n, specializing in hunting for married men, small-scale p0rnography where they sell their nudes online, etc. All cos of material things. Our generation is too consumerist, materially transactional, and loyal to mammon. We are fast becoming rich people with empty values. Career minded people with no truth to hand down to the coming generation. Many women want to be compensated for upholding good virtues.
It stems from lack of strong moral conviction. The bad girls seem to be at the fore of ostentation — they meet big boys, go on exotic vacations, with their social media pages plastered with enviable luxury. But nothing is worth losing good values for. NOTHING. Those women may seem to be winning. Materially, they are, but they are corrupt women, internally turbulent, deliberately obstinate and they lose the ability to nurture properly. Everything they have and are can raze down to ashes in a minute. Their children lack wisdom.
Good girl dey pay. You’ll feel it inside of you, that inner witness rewards you with peace. You’re graced with confidence. You build everything around you. You live in your fullest. You’re the woman God wants and lastly, you have control over materialism. Only a strong woman can.
Be contented with what you have, and be okay with going only as far as good can take you. Always remember that some things should matter to you than money. A virtuous woman is worth more than GOLD. Good girl dey pay.
